Scholarship Announcement
Scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 Academic year are now open.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Full time female student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at Nevada State University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, or College of Southern Nevada.
- Must be a junior or senior (minimum 60 credit hours completed)
- Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better
- Have financial need
- Demonstrated desire to help others in the community
- Involved in extracurricular activities
- Renewable one time, must reapply each year

For years, AAUW Las Vegas has awarded scholarships to women attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), Nevada State College, and College of Southern Nevada. Scholarship recipients receive funds as well as a student membership in AAUW Las Vegas and mentoring from branch members.
The Scholarship Committee reviews applications and selects scholarship recipients based on criteria pre-determined by AAUW Las Vegas.
The AAUW Las Vegas Scholarship fund includes proceeds from fundraising events, Bridge tournaments, monthly meetings projects, and individual contributions.
The scholarship year is from July 1 until June 30.
