Welcome!  AAUW (American Association of University Women) was founded in 1881 and currently has over 170,000 members and supporters working to advance equity for women and girls through, advocacy, education, and research.

AAUW Las Vegas Branch, established in 1940, welcomes you to join us for education, community programs, legislative advocacy, research and scholarships for women.  By joining AAUW you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance.

AAUW Las Vegas holds monthly program meetings, September through May usually on the third Saturday of the month.  Meetings include interesting and inspiring speakers, networking and fellowship.

Program meetings are open to the public and guests are welcome!

Our next meeting is on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at The Summit. Our speaker will be Jenna Heath, Director of Student and Community Engagement, UNLV College of Liberal Arts.

Our November meeting is our annual fund raising event to support our scholarship fund.  Join us to support our scholarship program.

Interested in joining the Las Vegas NV Branch:  It’s quick and easy, you can join online and pay with a credit card.  To join on line go to https://www.aauw.org and click on login in the upper right hand corner of the home page. When that opens choose create an account.  You should be able to begin the process of joining then.

You can also join by completing the  Las Vegas Membership Application and mailing a check as indicated on the form.
